Join Julie Deffense of Julie Deffense Artistry at USFMS’s Culinary Innovation Lab in Lakewood Ranch and learn beautiful new ways to decorate your next baked creation. Techniques may include basket weave, piped flowers and color theory.
The event is open to the public and will take place from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm Tickets are $60 and include a glass of Prosecco and a tasting plate of sweet tapas specially prepared by Julie Deffense, cookbook author and leading luxury cake designer of Portugal.
Each participant will discover the ease of decorating their own cake. Fee includes select decorating tools, an individual cake to take away and recipe used in the workshop.
